knights of the old republicI’m a little annoyed. Massively is reporting via Shacknews that EA president John Riccitello passively commented that their next MMO launch will be in the spring of 2011.

Being that there doesn’t appear to be any other EA MMO launches on the horizon highly suggests that this is probably Star Wars: The Old Republic.

This makes my inner child cry.

2010 is looking pretty boring.

  1. it’s too bad that they’re pushing it back, but after KOTOR 2 i’d rather they finish the game completely before putting it out.

i’ve got such high expectations for this game…it’s unhealthy 🙂

  2. Thats actually a good point. there are a lot of MMO’s that got released too early this year and paid a heavy price. champions online, age of conan, warhammer online.

I know kotor 2 didn’t live up to what it was supposed to be, but i still loved that game.

    • yeah me too, what they lost in unfinished gameplay they made up for in excellent storytelling.
