Pirates of Guild Waaarrrghs 2
This is concept art of a pirate. Not exactly what comes to mind when you think pirate right? I certainly don’t think ‘giant metal helmet’ or ‘mismatched gladiatorial style armour and kilt’. I tend not to be the type to imagine that pirates would wield a pick-axe with chain attachment. This is why you hire concept artists. So that your game does not end up looking exactly like your biggest competitor.
Then again, some people want their game to resemble their biggest competitor.
